The Greater New York Math Fair (formerly the New York City Math Fair) is New York’s largest mathematics-themed student research event.
Students from all around the New York City area submit original research and writing on mathematics. Entries are screened, and hundreds of students are then invited to present their work in front of peers and a panel of judges comprised of university professors, mathematical professionals, and teachers.
Students earn medals and certificates for their work, but the primary reward is the unique experience of doing math and sharing their work with peers and professionals.
